Living in Penticton, BC
Still based in the Okanagan. The lake is warm, the trails are dry, and the wineries are pouring. No plans to leave anytime soon.
Building
Day job: Still heads-down as a dev at a 7-figure company. Shipping features, reviewing PRs, and keeping production stable.
Side projects: Taking on 2-3 Okanagan client projects per month. Currently focused on small business sites and booking systems for the summer tourism season.
This site: Continuously adding features, easter eggs, and content. If you've found the hidden terminal, you know what I mean.
After hours
Mountain biking the Penticton trail network most evenings. Trying to ride Three Blind Mice without stopping. Still working on it.
Planning a summer camping trip to Cathedral Provincial Park. If you've never been, go. It's another planet up there.
Saving up for a Japan trip — check my savings goals to see how that's going.
Learning
Deep into server components patterns and the React 19 ecosystem. The line between server and client is getting blurrier and I'm here for it.
Experimenting with AI-assisted development workflows. Claude Code has genuinely changed how I work.
