dev by day.
Your dev by night.
I build production apps for a 7-figure company Monday to Friday. On nights and weekends, I build affordable web apps for Okanagan businesses — to fund the fun stuff.
the real story
Why I do this
Monday through Friday, I'm a developer at a 7-figure company. I build and maintain production web applications that serve thousands of users. It's challenging, rewarding work — and it means I write production-grade code every single day.
On nights and weekends, I take that same skillset and apply it to Okanagan businesses at a fraction of what agencies charge. Why? Because this isn't my primary income. I don't need to inflate quotes, pad timelines, or upsell you on services you don't need.
Every dollar I earn from side projects goes straight toward the things I love — mountain bikes, ski passes, road trips, and vacations. When you hire me, you're not paying for some agency's office lease. You're helping me fund my next adventure, and getting a killer website in return.
I use the same tech stack at my day job that I use for your project — Next.js, React, TypeScript, deployed on Vercel. Your small business gets the same architecture powering million-dollar apps, built by someone who actually does this full-time.

origin story
How it started
Like a lot of developers, I got into this because of 90s movies that made computers look like magic. Watching hackers fly through 3D cityscapes of data, seeing someone take over a TV station from a bedroom, watching a kid navigate a Unix system to lock out velociraptors — that stuff rewired my brain at age 10.
I didn't just want to watch it. I wanted to build it. So I started learning HTML on GeoCities, moved to PHP, then JavaScript, then React, then Next.js. Twenty years later, I'm still chasing that same feeling — making things on screens that feel alive.
I actually built interactive recreations of those scenes. If you grew up on the same movies, you'll love them.
